Getting Geared Up For The Rut
SCOUT ISSUE-002
The 1st Annual RUT REPORT is Almost Here
If you’ve spent enough time around the white-tailed deer, you know the rut doesn’t arrive all at once.
Just when you think the woods have been eerily slow, a buck you’ve never seen before passes by your trail cam at 3 a.m. It might be a week, a day or a few hours later when all hell breaks loose. The annual mating season of our continent’s most widespread ungulate makes you cancel all other plans to try and catch a buck making a mistake while the does are hot.
SCOUT’s first-ever RUT REPORT panel is set to launch within the next two weeks. It’ll run through the end of the month, capturing real-time insights from whitetail hunters across the country.
We’re asking questions that go beyond success rates, questions like…
Do you schedule time off work specifically for a “rutcation”?
Do you pass on does during the rut?
Who is your first call after releasing an arrow?
If you’ve already built your SCOUT profile and selected whitetail as a species you pursue, you’ll be the first to get access when the panel opens.
If you haven’t built your profile yet, this is your cue.
Not a whitetail hunter?
No worries, we have a few more panels in the works before the end of the year.
NOTE: We are still actively looking for any and all outdoorsmen to join the platform, and are still in desperate need of more female hunters and anglers.
Thank you to everyone who has shared this with a friend or family member. If you know of anyone who you think would be a good fit, please forward this to them!
